Gorgeous Shri Ambica Mills Ltd. stock certificate issued in 1941 and updated up until 1972. This document entitled the owner to one share of the stock worth fifty rupees at the time. Although dated, 1941 this piece is designed in an older style with elaborate graphics and typography. In the center of the main logo is the image of Indian deity Ambica accompanied by a tiger--the goddess from which the mill takes its name.

This piece has some damage to the top edge including some tears, general foxing and a small hole most likely made by a flame. Some ink from the original writing has bled on the backside of the certificate as well. This beautiful piece is a solid shape and suitable for framing or display.
